"La Fontayne" Mini Cakes

These mini cakes were inspired by the late, great Dame Margot Fontayne.

White chocolate cakes, with white fondant over ganache, they are dressed with a four-layer skirt of ruffled fondant, and trimmed with a row of royal icing swiss dots, with a final royal icing daisy corsage.

Pakenham Bridal Expo

Sunday, May 24th is the next Bridal Expo. being held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre,Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham.

10 am - 4pm

Wedding Cupcakes


Vanilla bean cupcakes in natural cases, covered with eau de nil fondant over vanilla bean buttercream, and decorated with sugarpaste butterflies.

Matching 6" diameter cutting cake, also in vanilla bean, with eau de nil fondant over white chocolate ganache.

Bride and groom's initials are piped in royal icing, and all accents (including on butterflies and blossoms) are painted with pearlescence lustre.

The reception was held at the gorgeous Roselyn Court in Essendon.

21st Birthday Cupcakes

These cupcakes are chocolate fudge, in silver cases, decorated in a whimisal theme of pink, white and purple.

The birthday girl had a special cake all for her baked in a pink case with a sparkly white rose with a glittering purple butterfly stopping by for a visit.

Wedding Cupcakes

Vanilla bean and chocolate fudge cupcakes with a silver and black theme.

Silver and black foil cases with a vanilla bean buttercream swirl, decorated with hand-made edible hearts in two sizes.

Cutting cake of chocolate fudge with vanilla bean buttercream over white chocolate ganache, decorated with hand-made edible hearts in two sizes, and tied up with a silver chiffon ribbon bow.

The wedding and reception were held at Elmswood Estate, with spectacular views over the Yarra Valley.

Engagement Cupcakes

Vanilla bean cupcakes with a silver and pink theme.

Rolled fondant tops over vanilla bean buttercream, with hand-made edible butterflies and China Roses.

Birthday Cake

Wild berry fudge cake, with marbelized black and white fondant over ganache. Edible white sugar paste daisies with black centres perch on the tops of white fondant stems.

The cake is then all tied up with black and white polka dot chiffon ribbon.

White chocolate and raspberry cupcakes in silver foil cases with white fondant over vanilla bean buttercream; a navy blue flower with silver cachou centre, and a stem of large and medium cachous.
