Christmas cake orders open 1st October

Hi everyone!

Finally, the Christmas Cake book will be open for orders come October 1st.

Cakes are made to a very traditional Tennessee-en recipe, with the emphasis on fruit, cherries and bourbon!

Available sizes are:

Round - 6", 4"

Oval - 4" long x 3 " wide

Square - 4"

Hexagonal - 4"

All cakes are covered in marzipan and fondant in a variety of decorations, or can be decorated to a particular theme or style of your choice.

This year I have also managed to secure a limited number of silver presentation tins that will hold all 4" cakes, regardless of shape - ribbons of any shade can be added, and your Christmas gift is good to go!

Prices start at $15 each. (Presentation tins additional.)

The order book will close at the end of November, and last deliveries will be December 21st, so get in early to avoid disappointment!

Bridal Expo, October 8, 2008 at Linley Estate, Kilsyth

We are pleased to announce that we will be an exhibitor at the upcoming Bridal Expo being held at Linley Estate, Mt Dandenong Road, Kilsyth, on October 8th, 2008.

The Expo will run from 7pm to 9:30 pm. Entry is free, and you can take part in free hair and make-up trials as part of the event.

For all those Brides who register their details in our Book on the night, we will be offering special discounted rates for all bookings confirmed as a result of attending the Linley Expo, so if you are thinking of attending, make it worth your while, and check in and say hello!

Just Cupcakes! in the current Target stores catalogue!

After several weeks of waiting with baited breath, the current issue of the Target (Australia) catalogue has been released - with cupcakes from yours truly!

Baked in the silicone moulds which form part of the baking set, the only edict I received from the photo studio was "pretty, pink and white"... and voila!

Rococco Romance Wedding Cupcakes

White chocolate cupcakes, decorated with rolled eau-de-nil fondant over white chocolate ganache, and decorated with hand-made rolled fontant flowers and butterflies.

Cherry Blossom Cupcakes

Chocolate fudge cupcake bases in brown paper cases, topped with rolled fondant over dark chocolate ganache, decorated with rolled and lustered fondant cherry blossoms perched on royal icing branches.
